]]>The word “exclusively” is in quote for a couple reasons. First, the NFL Thursday Night TV “package” technically doesn’t include the NFL Kickoff Game and the Thanksgiving Night game, but since both take place on Thursday night, we’ll include the viewing and streaming options here anyway. For details on the NFL Kickoff Game or Thanksgiving night game, scroll to the end of the article. The typical Thursday Night games will also be available on traditional TV in the markets of the two teams playing that week. There’s also the NFL+ option, which we will discuss later.
The primary Thursday Night NFL schedule will be broadcast by Amazon Prime Video.
A free option for 2022 is Twitch.tv. This live streaming service, which is also owned by Amazon, typically offers a few live streaming options for NFL Thursday Night Football games that are also broadcast on Amazon. In previous seasons, PrimeVideo has the regular TV feed, as well as some alternative feeds. Follow NFLonPrime on Twitter for updates.
If you are an Amazon Prime subscriber, you can watch the games in your browser, via mobile with the Prime Video app from the Apple App Store or Google Play store, using a tv connected device such as the Fire TV Stick, Roku, Apple TV, Google Chromecast, xBox, Playstation, and others, or a Smart TV with the Amazon Prime Video app.
If you are not already an Amazon Prime subscriber, you can sign up for a yearly subscription for $119 per year (which includes all sorts of other benefits) or $14.99 per month. Students with a valid .edu can signup for Amazon Prime Student for $7.49 / month, or $69 / year, both of which includes a 6 month free trial.
NFL+ app allows fans to watch every in-market NFL game on mobile or Tablet. Plans start at $4.99 per month and includes yearly options starting at $29.99 per year. In previous seasons fans could watch for free on the Yahoo Sports app, but that is no longer the case in 2022.
The NFL Kickoff Game is a bit different than the rest of the Thursday Night NFL schedule. This traditional season opener for the NFL is technically part of the NFL Sunday Night Football package and is broadcast on NBC. It is on Thursday night, however, so I’m considering it as such. The same goes for the Thanksgiving night game which I cover at the end of the post. The 2022 edition of the NFL Kickoff game features the Buffalo Bills at the LA Rams on September 8th at 8pm EDT.
Ways to Watch NFL Kickoff Game Only
* You’ll want to double check each service to make sure they offer local channels in your area. Most of them do, but always check before subscribing.
Like the NFL Kickoff Game, the Thanksgiving night game doesn’t get lumped in with the standard NFL Thursday Night package, but again, since it is on Thursday night, we’ll include it. In 2022, the game will be broadcast by NBC and features New England at Minnesota.

]]>The website the506.com publishes updated NFL regional telecast information each week. The site gives you not only which game will be telecast in your area, but it gives you the broadcasters who will be calling the game.
Each week you’ll typically see three maps. One for the Early CBS Game, one for the early Fox game, and a third for the late doubleheader game. The late game will be either Fox or CBS depending on who owns the doubleheader rights for that week.
Game information is updated on the site typically during the middle of the week. So, if you check earlier in the week you might still see last week’s information. The site has a disclaimer that the information is unofficial and subject to change. Whether just for your own curiosity, or to avoid scrambling to find a sports bar at the last minute, check out the506.com each week before game time.

Subscribers who choose the Premium ($4.99 / month) or the Premium Plus ($9.99 / month) can live stream all NFL Sunday Night Football games, including the NFL Kickoff game on Thursday September 8th. Subscribers to the Free version of Peacock can only watch with a verified TV provider subscription.
Most of the streaming TV services offer NBC as part of their packages. Sling, however, only offers NBC in select cities, so you’ll want to check the Sling help center to see if you are in one of those areas.
It’s important to note that NBC is available over-the-air, so an antenna is always a free option.

The “ManningCast” airs on ESPN2 during select Monday night games and is also simulcast on ESPN+. However, you can stream the “ManningCast” free on mobile with no need to authenticate with a paid TV provider.
To watch on mobile for free, you’ll need to download and install the NFL App. When the game starts on Monday night, you’ll find the ManningCast “Alt stream” option available for viewing.
Unfortunately, Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli is not on every Monday Night and ESPN has not (yet) published an official schedule. So, you can check ESPN2’s broadcast schedule to see when the next “ManningCast” is scheduled.
Monday Night Football with Peyton and Eli is produced by Peyton’s production company, Omaha Productions. In the summer of 2021, the Manning’s signed a contract for 10 games per season through the 2023 season.

]]>The post Watch All Local & In-Market NFL Games Live on Mobile appeared first on Pro Football Streaming.
]]>Viewing your local in-market NFL games on mobile is pretty simple. First, download and install either the official NFL app, Yahoo Sports app, or Yahoo Fantasy app. To watch, simply open the app and you should see your viewing options at game time.
Do you want to know what games are available ahead of time? Here’s how to find out which NFL Games will be broadcast in your area each week on Fox and CBS.
At times, I’ve seen the game options vary from what is available on my local television stations. On the particular Sunday, my mobile options included Washington vs. New Orleans, but Tampa Bay vs. Miami was being broadcast on my local CBS affiliate. This difference is likely due to where my internet is connecting. (I am in an area with numerous team areas in close proximity)
You may notice in the image above that NFL RedZone shows up as an option during Sunday afternoon games. You can watch NFL RedZone on mobile not for free, but with a yearly subscription for $34.99. This is only for mobile and isn’t available on other devices.
You won’t be able to cast the game to your tv, but you can at least watch in landscape mode.
For Sunday night games, there is just the one option, so it’s available to everyone nationwide.
If you enjoy the pre-game show, you can also watch those on mobile as well. They’ll show up as options on the home screen of the app at air time.
ESPN’s Monday Night Football is available on virtually all streaming and cable platforms, but unfortunately it’s an NFL game that can’t be viewed nationwide over-the-air. So, watching MNF on mobile is a great way for many to watch without any additional out-of-pocket costs.
The one caveat here is the NFL Network only games which require you to watch via cellular or by having a TV subscription. If you have an unlimited data plan, you’re fine, but if not, you’ll want to think twice. All of the Thursday Night games that are broadcast of Fox are available even on Wifi.
For some, watching NFL games on a mobile device just won’t cut it. However, for those that don’t mind the small screen, or are on the go and can’t watch on larger screens, this is a nice and essentially free viewing option.
